Spring City Restaurant (Milwaukee, WI)

I was in Milwaukee a little while ago for business and we stayed in the Pewaukee area. One day we decided to go to Spring City Restaurant for lunch. A lot of the locals recommended it. It was early Autumn and it was already starting to get colder out. Everyone in our group wanted soup.
We all piled into the restaurant and were seated immediately. Our waitress was super nice and told us about all of their great lunch specials. They had several soups available, but were running out quick. I opted for their split pea with ham soup and a typical club sandwich.
I wasn’t expecting to walk away with any kind of memorable experience. My soup came out first, and I loved it so much I went back everyday I was there to try it again. It was so good and the ham was actual ham, and not that cubed fake stuff places usually use.
My club sandwich actually had nice thick bacon and toasted bread. Usually a club sandwich is pretty bland and you quickly forget it, but this was different.
Everyone I encountered here was very nice and always helpful. If I am ever in Milwaukee again I’ll be sure to stop by!!
